New Jersey ratified the Constitution in 1787, by a convention vote of 38-0, the 3rd state to do so.
Unanimous. The small states wanted a stronger union more than the big ones did.
Asked how many people in the other party support political violence, New Jersey residents put the figure at 54.4%. Asked the same people whether they themselves support it, the answer comes back at 20.2%. The distance between what is believed and what is true is 34.2 points, across 3,367 respondents in New Jersey.
